From 1794, this family is making wine, following the historical methods combined with the new and modern technologies for the final product, the Lambrusco, that makes this “Cantina” one of the most ancient of the area of Modena. The Museum and the barrels’ storage are a perfect combination: here you can learn how the wine was produced and how it’s done today, discover the machines of the past and breathe the unique air into the wood-barrels’ storage, where wine is fermented for years. 

At the end, you will have the opportunity of tasting the authentic Lambrusco.


The Carpigiani Gelato Museum is the only museum dedicated to the history of artisan gelato!

The museum features an interactive tour that highlights three principal themes regarding gelato: the evolution of gelato over time, the history of production technology, and the places and ways it is consumed.The museum’s 1000 square meters are home to 20 original machines, multimedia presentations, 10,000 historical images and documents, precious tools and accessories, and original video interviews.
